According to the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of 2010 is the
Year of the Tiger, which begins on February 14, 2010 and ends on February 2, 2011. The Tiger is the third sign in the cycle of Chinese Zodiac, which consists of 12 animal signs. It is a sign of courage. This fearless and fiery fighter is revered by the ancient Chinese as the sign that wards off the three main disasters of a household: fire, thieves and ghosts.

2009 was a memorable year. A lot of things have happened, both good and bad. I want to dwell on the positive memories, of course.
- Papa turned 50 on February...and more birthdays to come!
- Kathy and I graduated from college last April. My family was extremely at bliss.
- Another milestone for Kathy and I was that we both passed the Pharmacy Licensure Examination held on June. We are both licensed pharmacists now, except that Kathy will only be able to get her license when she turns 21 (which will be this year). Hurray!
- I got my first job, which is as a clinical pharmacist at one of the best hospitals in the world (so they say). Kathy also got her first job. Woohoo for us!
- My family is in good health and happy.
- I earned new friends and still keeps the old ones.
- I have a (new) mantra. Allow me to borrow Les Brown's words:
Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it, you will land among the stars.
- I'm looking forward to the new challenges and other possibilities that the Year of the Tiger has to offer. I'm so ready to RAWR! =)

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year everyone!!!
